Doubletree By Hilton Edinburgh City Centre Hotel

Lovely room, with great views of the castle. Very comfy bed. Staff, especially the Spanish guy at reception and the young man with red hair, were friendly and helpful. The food in the bar during the evening, especially the haggis with chilli sauce, was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the heart of the city. The location was perfect, with Edinburgh Castle just a stone's throw away. Our room was spacious and comfortable, providing a great base for our family of four. The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a good variety of options to choose from. We also enjoyed the stunning view from the Sky bar. a wonderful experience.

The shower curtain could have been cleaner.

The room was nice and clean, and the receptionist at check-in was very friendly. the location of the hotel was fantastic, with the castle and Grassmarket just a short walk away. I also enjoyed the generous breakfast and found the staff to be always friendly and helpful.

The room lacked adequate storage for clothes, and there were not many places to put them. Additionally, the deep clean of the room seemed to have missed some areas, as I found a lump of cake under the bedside shelf that was clearly left by the previous guest.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel - the Castle View room was incredible! The room itself was spacious with high ceilings, and the bathroom was very nice. The location was perfect, right next to the castle and close to the city center. The staff were fantastic, very helpful and friendly. We also appreciated the cleanliness of the hotel and the discounted parking nearby.

Only one lift was working, with no signs or noticeable cleaning. The room had smear marks on the mirrors and a badly stained and smelly shower curtain.

The location was excellent. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Free cookies were a nice touch. The room was clean and had great views.

I had an excellent stay here! The location was superb, just a short walk to the castle and the city center. The room was spacious and well-maintained with great room amenities, including a mini-bar and a seating area. The staff were welcoming and friendly, always ready to help and made sure my stay was enjoyable. I loved the welcome drink and the tours/ticket assistance was very helpful. the service was top-notch.

the room was smaller than expected but still had enough space. the telly had a good selection of channels and the bathroom was good too. the hotel's location was convenient, with popular attractions within walking distance.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better, as the cleaners didn't always remove rubbish or provide new tea and coffee facilities. the pillows were too soft and tended to flatten out.

The location of the hotel is amazing, right next to the castle and very close to the grassmarket and the royal mile. It's perfect for exploring all the visitor attractions and entertainment options in the area. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with great views of the castle. The staff are friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The breakfast selection is delicious and there are many options for dining nearby.

The only downside was the occasional need to request for room replenishments such as tea/coffee/loo roll.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location couldn't have been better, right in the center and next to the castle. It was so convenient for exploring the city and walking to the castle. The service was top-notch, from the friendly and helpful staff to the room service and housekeeping. The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with great amenities like a mini-bar and a sitting area. The bathroom was spacious and had a separate tub and shower. I also appreciated the complimentary welcome drink upon arrival. this place exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it.

The location of Doubletree By Hilton was perfect for exploring the city, just a short walk from the Grassmarket and Princes Street. Great location, helpful staff, comfortable bed and pillows, reasonable price, nice view of the castle. TV at end of bed. Bath and shower available. Good breakfast.
